Alright! Here it is! Ive spent countless hours setting up this forum and ZionsLions.com for everyone. I get people asking me all the time how I built my businesses and how they can do the same. If your here, you know its all about mindset! So I have mad a challenge for myself! And you all can follow along! Are you ready? Heres the challenge:

Have ONE MILLION DOLLARS in cash, in the bank, by Sept. 1, 2009!!

My guidlines:
  • Im starting with ZIP! Nada! No money!
  • Money has to be earned legal and ethical.
  • Can be from as many streams of income as possible.
  • No secrets, youll see EXACTLY how I do it!
Thats it! Ill post up deposit slips and bank statements to show as I go along. The goal is set for just over a year, since Im planning a two week vacation to Iceland on Aug. 1st 2008. So I rounded up! Yea, a little longer than a year, but oh well!

Should be a blast! So follow along as I make ONE MILLION DOLLARS in one year right before your eyes!

Million Dollar Blog-Day 2/3

Posted 08-15-2008 at 08:33 AM by Colorado Ron
Ok, yesterday I set out to clear some stuff. I managed to sell my Big Screen TV for $650 and Jeep top for $450!!Not a bad day! Total in the pot is now $1100! Woohoo. Time to sell more stuff. I was also working on the house yesterday and thought, "Hmmmm, I have alot of equity in this house-maybe I should just sell the house?". I can just imagine what my wife would say, "Dont even think about it!"LOL. We could totally do it and live in a teepee for a year!HAHA! Just kidding honey! So after that thought, I thought I better lay out some more rules, or loose guidline:

Every goal has a price...

What Im willing to pay:
Anything I own, myself. Such as my cars, parts, motorcycles, etc

What Im not willing to pay:
Family time, our house, my wifes vehicle, church obligations, etc

Thats it for now. Im still working on the plan to make the Million bucks, but Im open minded to all events happening in my life!

Living in a tent could be a yurt

Well, I was looking for an interesting blog and I found it. When you mentioned selling your house and living in a tent for a year I thought of us. My husband and I have not done it yet, but are seriously considering something like a yurt in order to reach our goals. Let's be honest, it would be better to camp out for a year and make your dreams a reality than it would be to steal from...whoever and end up living in a 5x5 cel with a guy you wouldn't want to go camping with if it killed you. You are inspiring us to take the plunge. Mother Earth News might help you cut costs too. It was a gift subscription to us from a parent and we have really gleaned a lot of info. Articles like "Living on Less and Loving It." Life is a journey, living in a palace is boring. Make sacrifices so when you reach your goal you can appreciate it more.
I will keep looking for ways to be challenged in this dept. I don't think I'll hit a million, but then again, you never know...
