Million Dollar Blog-Day 55

Been really busy lately. I cant seem to remember a time where Ive been so busy. My web page is coming along great and almost ready to launch. I have read Phil Towns book, Rule #1, three times now! Its a great book and I highly recommend it to anyone looking into making a future for yourself.
Im amazed at the clarity I have had recently. Im still eating healthier and really dont care to go back to junk food. I havent weighed myself, but for giggles my wife threw the tape measure on my. Ive lost 1.75 inches in the waist. Not too bad starting into my third week.
In these "financial hardtimes" that I keep hearing about, Im amazed at how many opportunities are still out there. There was a guy selling his cafe here in town for $15k!! He was making alot more than that. He just made some poor financial choices and was caught in a moment of weekness. Willing to sell a business that took him 5 years to grow, for only $15000! I almost bought it, but I dont want to be married to a Cafe. And it would take alot longer than a year to squeeze 1 million dollars from it. I could have bought and sold it? Maybe I should have. Oh well. I made the choice not to, so I guess I shouldnt second guess myself. Its done and Ive moved on.
Google never contacted me, so I guess they were not interested in my idea. I contacted my favorite author on stock investing and Im waiting for a call from him!
Im working on getting financing in place. I need to be able to leverage some money to buy more real estate and take advantage of these great prices! Hard when lenders want 20% down. Makes it limiting on what I can buy.
I took the $5100 I had and payed tithing on it. So $510 went there. The next day a killer deal on a truck came up. It was a chevy 4x4 for $4000. I bought the truck and put it on craigslist. Sold it yesterday for $6500 and paid another $250 to tithing. So my total now is $6840. Plus I still have the VW bus to sell!
More to come!
